Students, staff, and faculty of Queens University of Charlotte may request desired items not available in Everett Library through the Library's interlibrary loan program. Generally it takes 1-3 business days to receive an article and 5-7 business days to receive a book. Every effort will be made to obtain requested interlibrary loan items at no charge. However, if the item is not available for loan for free, the patron has the option to pay. All patrons will be consulted before charges are accrued for a specific item.
The library follows standard interlibrary loan practice and adheres to appropriate national and state interlibrary loan codes and copyright laws. For a closer look at the national and state standards regarding interlibrary loan, please click here.

Reference materials, media materials, items from special collections or archives, and any circulating item deemed in fragile condition are not available for interlibrary loan.
The library uses the ILLIAD system for ordering materials via interlibrary loan. New interlibrary loan users will need to create an account in ILLIAD, and current users can login on the left side of the page.
