The Library has access to two Charlotte Observer databases, a current (1985-current) and historical (1892- 1985) which can be searched separately as well as together.

Gale Directory Library provides digital access to reference works including the Encyclopedia of Associations, Market Share Reporter, National Directory of Nonprofit Organizations, and Scholarships, Fellowships and Loans. [Provided by Charlotte Mecklenburg Library]
Hoopla allows patrons to instantly borrow eBooks, comics, audiobooks, music, movies and television. It also features an automated service that returns your item once your time is up. Content can be streamed to computers, tablets or smartphones, and can be downloaded to mobile devices to allow for offline viewing any time. You can check out up to 6 items from hoopla each month.

Kanopy is an award-winning video streaming service providing access to more than 30,000 independent and documentary films. Videos can be streamed on your desktop computer, tablets, smartphones, and TV apps. You can view up to 6 films per month.
