Service Alert
The library is excited to partner with you to help make the most effective use of our resources, incorporate information literacy concepts, and design constructive research assignments.
As an instructor, you have final say and responsibility for your course, but that doesn't mean you have to develop the entire course and every assignment on your own.
Librarians are research and information literacy experts, which means we can collaborate with you to incorporate information literacy concepts into course assignments to help students understand:
For a fuller discussion of these concepts, please see the Association of College & Research Libraries' Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education.
If you wish to place an item on reserve for your students to use, please visit the Everett Library reserves page and complete your request through the form. If you are interested in having the library acquire an item for you to place on reserve, please contact Sherrill Shiraz. To place a personal copy on reserve, bring it to the library at the attention of Sherrill Shiraz.

Each subject (and many of the individual courses) taught at Queens has an accompanying research guide created by librarians. Your subject or course guide will display by default at the "Research Help" link in your Canvas course. If you have questions or feedback about your subject guide, or if you would like us to create a guide for your course, please contact your liaison librarian.
