Research on primary, secondary, and higher education, as well as special education, home schooling, adult education, and hundreds of related topics.

ERIC This link opens in a new window
Access to 1.5 million bibliographic records (citations, abstracts, and other pertinent data) of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added every week.
Teacher Reference Center This link opens in a new window
Teacher Reference Center provides indexing and abstracts for more than 220 peer-reviewed journals.

Google Scholar
Google Scholar searches articles from a variety of sources. Most of them are scholarly articles, but not all of them. And NEVER pay for an article that you find. Use the library's Interlibrary Loan service instead.

Designed specifically for elementary and middle school students, SIRS Discoverer offers articles, nonfiction books, images, activities, and websites curated for educational relevance, age appropriateness, and readability.
Historical Children's Literature Digital Collection This link opens in a new window
This digital collection is known for comparative editions of books, with special emphasis on Robinson Crusoe, Pilgrim’s Progress, Aesop’s Fables, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and also contains the largest collection of Early American Juvenile books of any academic institution in the United States.
Linguistics Database This link opens in a new window
This database includes full-text journals and other sources in linguistics, including many titles indexed in Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA).

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a way to request books, articles, and other materials that the Everett Library does not have. ILL is a service provided to you, but it does take some time.
