This database has a listing of scholarly books and articles on literature and folklore. Not all of the sources are immediately accessible through MLA, so don't hesitate to search Google Scholar and request Interlibrary Loan help.

Google Scholar
Google Scholar searches articles from a variety of sources. Most of them are scholarly articles, but not all of them. And NEVER pay for an article that you find. Use the library's Interlibrary Loan service instead.
