Secondary Sources

A secondary source of information is one that was created later by someone who did not experience first-hand or participate in the events or conditions you're researching. For the purposes of a historical research project, secondary sources are generally scholarly books and articles.

To access the e-Books you will need to create an account for the e-Book databases. If you are asked to select a library, look for Queens University of Charlotte. If that is not available look for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library. If you select Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library you will need to enter your library card number which is your Queen's student ID number (located on your qcard) with the letter q in front of it. For example: q112233
