Service Alert
The Everett Library is committed to supporting your teaching and research needs. Each department has a dedicated liaison librarian who can collaborate with you to:
Teach students information literacy and critical thinking through course-integrated instruction and workshops
Design assignments that incorporate information literacy concepts and library resources
Develop library research guides for disciplines and specific courses (ex. Art & Design, Health Administration, & Music Therapy) to serve as a simple starting point for student work
Your course's or subject's research guide are included by default under “Research Help” in your Canvas course. Please reach out to your liaison librarian if you don't see that or if you have feedback about a guide.
Curate topic-specific resources from library collections and open-access sources
Build responsive library collections by gathering recommendations for purchases, considering new subscriptions, and deselecting unwanted materials
Additionally, if you have a question, and you're not sure who to ask, you can always reach out to your liaison librarian.
Your liasion librarian can also support your students directly by:
Offering personalized research consultations to help identify, evaluate, and locate information resources that can be used to complete assignments
Guiding the selection and use of the many library services and resources
Responding to ideas for improving the student experience
