For Faculty

A guide for Everett Library services for Queens faculty

Content for Teaching

In addition to helping make sure the materials in our collections meet your teaching needs, the library can also help create and curate content to support student learning by:

  • Identifying Open Educational Resources (OER) that can replace or augment costly course textbooks
  • Developing research guides for your subject or individual course that:
    • Curate library and freely available resources for student research
    • Instruct students on how to do secondary research
  • Placing materials on reserve for use by students in your course at the library

Teaching Collaboration

The library is excited to partner with you to help make the most effective use of our resources, incorporate information literacy concepts, and design constructive research assignments.
